Call for Quilts

 

There are many opportunities for you share your quilting skills at the International Quilt Festival of Ireland.

 

Rules:

1. Please fill out a new entry for each exhibit.
2. All entries must be constructed by hand or machine.
3. Entrants name must be permanently attached.
4. All quilts must have a 4” sleeve.
5. Each entry must come in it’s own cloth casing like a pillowcase. Your name must be on the casing.
6. Entry forms must be received by April 1, 2012.
7. Each entry must have an Artist Statement in 50 words or less.
8. Attached to the quilt should be two color Photographs. One is for identification and the other one is for insurance.
9. 25 Euro entry fee to cover processing and return shipment costs. If sending within the United States, please enclose a check made out to Sew Many Places. If sending to Europe, please enclose a cheque made out to Jim West Ltd.

Insurance

Owner is responsible for insuring the quilt from owner's residence to one of the two above address. While the quilt is in the Festival's care it will be covered under a special insurance binder for the duration of the time we receive it until it is sent back.  The Festival will insure postage back to the owner at the same amount it was insured for coming in.   Amount you will be insuring the piece when you ship it.
